Inkscape fails to start

I receive the following error message when starting a fresh install of inkscape 0n tc2.4rc4.

inkscape: error while loading shared libraries: libglibmm-2.4.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

Note: the "info" says need gtkkmm.tcel but the "depends" loads gtkmm.tczl.

That lib is in glibmm, which is not in the dep list, but I will add.

Edit: along with cairomm and pangomm, which are probably also needed
