Could you give a link to a web site that has audio content? Then we can go through the steps.

This site wants a Quicktime plugin. I did some searching for a Linux QT plugin, without success.

How about: justsonny.com/multimedia.shtml

Install an audio player (xmms, audacious, mplayer, etc)

Click on the audio link in webpage

In the dialog box:

Click Open
File name: /usr/local/bin <Enter>
Select your player (xmms, audacious, mplayer, etc)
Click Open
Check Remember choice and do not show dialog again
Click Open
Enjoy!!

Note: the very first link on that page (under multimedia) requires mplayer
