very interesting distro...
« on: December 21, 2008, 11:55:34 AM »
hi, i am new here, new to tiny core, just new

my first impression of tiny linux? a stream of surprised curses ending with 'how is that possible'?

i mean, i looked away for a second and when i looked back there was a desktop and cursor

of course i use puppy linux as my main distro so am used to endless booting ;) ;D

my second impression was that the control panel looked just like dsl and there is no ppp wizard

rebooted into puppy, registered here, looked up some ppp-related stuff, ready to go back at it!

thanks to everyone who made this distro, it looks pretty good so far [i am a bit of a minimalist so the no app boot is really intriguing!]

Welcome.

That would probably be from roberts' code.  There's no ppp support in base, but there was a recent pppd extension that was posted.
