Google Earth / Xorg bug
« on: September 15, 2009, 06:01:43 PM »
Starting Google Earth 5.1 following message received:

Quote
Failed to initialize TTM buffer manager.  Falling back to classic.
[intel_init_bufmgr:500] Error initializing buffer manager.
brwCreateContext: failed to init intel context
Google Earth has caught signal 11.

We apologize for the inconvenience, but Google Earth has crashed.
This is a bug in the program, and should never happen under normal
circumstances. A bug report and debugging data have been written
 to this text file:

    /home/tc/.googleearth/crashlogs/crashlog-4ab0296a.txt

Please include this file if you submit a bug report will to Google.

tc@box:~$

On ATI based video card it works fine.

System is TC 2.3.1 & Xorg with Intel graphics hardware. It looks like an Xorg Intel driver bug.
