software source
« on: March 05, 2026, 12:43:43 PM »
Hi all!

Looking over the "Source of wbar" thread below, I had a few questions.

1. Doe the source code files not migrate like the other repo software?  Meaning, when a new version of TC is released (e.g. 16.x to 17.x) the repo gets copied and updated at that point with any new versions of software.  Does the source code also get copied?  From the looks of the wbar conversation it doesn't appear so.

2. Does all software in the repo have a corresponding "src/PACKAGE"?

Hi wysiwyg
Looking over the "Source of wbar" thread below, I had a few questions. ...
Since you didn't include a link to that thread, here it is:
https://forum.tinycorelinux.net/index.php/topic,28037.0.html

While that thread appears 2 lines below this thread in  Tiny Core Extensions->TCE Talk , its
position relative to this thread will shift over time.
