downloading files attached to forum post?
« on: August 22, 2009, 10:55:54 AM »
Does anyone know of a way to use wget to download a file that has been attached to a post here in the forum?  I have posted a script in the Programming and Scripting section that should be run using a clean boot of TC/MC.  Unfortunately that means no browser to handle the non-direct link to the file download.  I would like to advise folks on how to obtain the script by using wget if its possible.  Otherwise they would need to use a browser and save the file to hard disk and reboot before running.  I did a little googling on the subject and didnt get many hits so any suggestions would be welcome. :D

I think the main reason is that logging in is required to view attachments.
(passing credentials via post might work though)
