whiptail or newt package?
« on: February 10, 2025, 11:23:04 PM »
Is there an existing Tiny Core extension for the whiptail / newt package?

Flavor: Tiny Core
Version: 15.0
Architecture: x86 / x64
Links:
  • On Debian/Ubuntu, it is called whiptail.
  • On Fedora/CentOS, it is called newt.

Hi 2048b
Welcome to the forum.

Neither of those packages have ever been available on Tinycore.

I did a search of TC14 64 bit and came up with the following:
Code: [Select]
dialog
expect
Xdialog
yad
zenity

You edited your question while I was composing an answer.
The extensions I mentioned are also available in TC15 x86 and x86_64.
