I made a video after seeing the only video on Youtube to boot TinyCore w/ FLWM on a PiZero was three years ago:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oE4cbIP5ieQ It runs much faster than any other OS on the Pi 0, with the exception of maybe RISC OS, which has a slightly awkward and outdated user interface.
The video shows a much lower latency and install time (15 minutes) than the Diet Pi, which took nearly an hour (or more) to get the GUI running: (I made that video (4 actually) in early 2023:

https://www.inkandswitch.com/slow-software/A 2021 video shows a wifi install, and only a minute or so of the GUI running on the zero:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKvW59uk4PY&t=0s My video has around 7 minutes of GUI navigation post the CLI install. I am not too savvy with installing lots of packages, so I don't plan to use it as a daily driver, but to test performance of OS and apps. It's nice to navigate and see how quickly programs run and open, even if they are just the control panel
