and good timing on your post.....I have just seen my game submission (uzdoom with freedoom) on x86_64 16x has landed I am going to post in the forum shortly....to save you reading it....it runs well on Xorg and struggles without lots of Xorg stuff and xwayland to run on our current wayland desktops of labwc and woodland.
Does not launch after waiting 5 minutes on weston.
It works as fast as Xorg with sway....but I am going to submit sway for 17x

So I am not suggesting members move away from Xorg if they are gamers, for now
