Startx problem

Hello guys,

When I use the command startx in the prompt the GUI doesn't run on my screen and I only get in return to this command :
1 cycle done
But when I reboot the GUI is running fine.
Any tought?

Hi MrToga
If you got to the prompt by hitting  Ctrl-Alt-F1  it's because X is still running. Then, the way back would be  Ctrl-Alt-F2.

Otherwise, describe how you got to the prompt and whether your RPi has an attached keyboard and monitor. I don't
run any RPi hardware so you'll have to wait and see if any of the smart kids have any ideas.

Hi Rich,

I think it was because I was doing ctrl alt f1 and I didn't know i could get back with ctrl alt f2
