After a long research in che web and in the forum I have found this old post where gutmensch says to write inside the ./home/tc/xsession file the line:

Code: [Select]
[ -e /usr/local/bin/setxkbmap ] && setxkbmap -layout "de" -variant "nodeadkeys"
I changed "de" with "it" and works

Hi Rich

Hi rullolex
Maybe you could share how you solved it in case someone else has the same problem?

I think that one post fixed on top (like the translation one) with the solution of this kind of issues will be great.

I.e persistent keyboard layout with xvesa, with xorg, and other configuration things to make easy for future users
