You (most likely) have Intel CPU, and (probably) AMD GPU

What exactly do you (and I) need to know?

Hardware specs, so we can find out the most suitable drivers for you.

Does your machine have more than 4G of RAM ?
If that's the case, I suggest you switch to 64-bit.
(Since 32-bit operating systems generally don't support RAM more than that, you'll be limit to 4G even if you have more.)

If you're sticking with 32-bit platform

IIRC, graphics-KERNEL is needed for Xorg now
So you'll also need graphics-5.4.3-tinycore

I only see a shell with

You're already in what we called "console prompt"

How did you install your system ?

Did you use the official tc-install ?

I don't know the GPU, how do I find that out on fresh tinycore install?
Also I will switch to 64bit eventually.

You run this the first time to download the extensions as well as install them:

tce-load -wi graphics-KERNEL Xorg-7.7 jwm

Then later you can use:

tce-load -i graphics-KERNEL Xorg-7.7 jwm

As the extensions are already downloaded, the latter command should now work.

"startx" should work in both cases, or at least it does when I load the extensions that I listed earlier.

If you can't check the specs for your laptop to find the GPU, use the "lspci" command and the model will probably be on the line that says "VGA compatible controller:". Sometimes the model info reported there can be a bit cryptic, though hopefully it'll say something to at least indicate Intel/AMD/Nvidea etc.

Why there is two extensions with name jwm in TC15 x86_64. What is the difference between jwm-full.tcz and jwm.tcz? I think jwm.tcz is broken and menu list and wbar don't work with this one.

jwm-full.tcz is version 2.2.2
jwm.tcz is version 2.3.7

jwm.tcz works fine for me with TC15 x86_64. I don't use wbar, but my manually-generated menu displays fine. I don't think I've tried jwm-full.tcz.

jwm.tcz works fine for me with TC15 x86_64.

I tried to recreate this problem, and it occurs always when I instal jwm.tcz before Xorg or Xvesa on fresh installation.
