waitusb=essential
« on: July 21, 2009, 12:33:42 PM »
Thesedays I almost don't use HDD & optical at all, all is SSD (compactflash, microsd, USB adaptors, netbook, etc.)

I mount -o loop tinycore.iso, copy to USB flash, move isolinux syslinux/cfg, & boot.
I reckon 66X speed is generally the lowest flash in circulation, waitusb=5, waitusb=4 fails.

I fathomed out why PPR/TCE Backup/Restore didn't 'work,' but it took a little fathoming & I reckon a newbie wouldn't have a cat in hells chance.
waitusb isn't on the Tiny Core Concepts page, but is on the FAQ page, but I think a newbie may not comprehend.

I hope that waitusb could be on the Concepts page, or something?

I would like to take an opportunity to say a Big Thankyou to Roberts for being! (& crew.)
If Gordon Brown gets nominated for a Nobel for economics, well Robert can have a key to the planet!
Sorry to put Gordon Brown and Robert in the same sentence, I don't mean offence.
