Actually, to be more precise, the dCoreFocal64 RC candidate, was tested like I did with Tinycore on my Intel NUC in uefi-only mode.
The RC did NOT care about whether or not the uefi-exception of "optical boot" was enabled or not. and booted regardless. So thanks for that - that also means my ultra-modern mini-pc which has no ability to select/deselect 'optical boot", and will not boot optical by default, has no problem with Focal RC booting either from a usb stick either!
Earlier releases like Buster were just not bootable in uefi-only mode, but that wasn't my main concern since there are other front-end ways to force it to do so.
