Is it possible to add md5.db.tgz signature to the repo?

Hi, Core guys!

I have one question to the maintainers. File md5.db.tgz is already present in the repo. Is it possible to generate the GPG keypair, publish the public half and each time md5.db.tgz is updated, publish its signature in the repo too?
