Lightweight website *expletive* demos
« on: May 31, 2019, 03:55:35 PM »
This might be interesting to those drawn to using lightweight resources to write webpages in simplified html.  TC users might be interested.

*** WARNING ***
In an effort to call attention to using lightweight html in today's world of 99% eye candy, tracking, marketing and so forth, and only 1% content, many of these demo sites are using strong language filled with expletives.

I won't even produce the url's here, but just imagine going to something like

Mother***ing website.  Or Best****er**cking website.   You get the idea.

Claiming to be parody, the intent is to get the problem - and solution - noticed.

I get the point too.  It isn't trying to return to 1995 era childish websites, but the fact that simplified html, even including modern features like https can be quite functional and a pleasure to read when formatted nicely.

Mentally exchange the expletives with real content, and the point is made.

They look great in modern browsers, but also work well in Dillo or even Lynx.
