Hello
Could you tell me if using "compute modules" is just like bumping up the CPU
of a host master board?
I believe there are several "hats" that can be purchased for ARM boards that then
allow the sister "compute modules" to be plugged into. Maybe 4 of them plugged.
So i realize these modules don't have connectors or USB etc and just plug into
a master host. Are you essentially just creating a larger CPU based master computer?
Does the HAT infact link these slave "modules" up to the master in an ethernet styled
data link? (same protocol...?)
What i am asking is once you plug 4 "computer modules" in and then boot the master
does the master just appear as a single larger CPU powered machine?
Sort of parallel processing.?
I realize they are supossed to be used for clusters right?.....
i can web search it ....but i just thought to ask here.
I have found the innexpensive "atomic pi" $35 and was in conflict
about Arm or x86
