Install to HDD, unable to mount USB drive
« on: March 13, 2019, 04:35:26 PM »
Hello,

when i tried to install TC (running it from the USB flash drive), i selected my HDD partition (sda1) as a destination.
and as a source core.gz file that i found in /mnt/sdb***/boot (by the way this is very inconvenient, because not every noob knows he need to find that file here!) and then proceed and it stopped with error like that it is unable to mound my USB drive.

Hello
Why don’t you try downloading tinycore-current.iso   Mount it to /temp/ISO Then point the installer to /temp/ISO for the copy process

You’ll end up with a nice efficient install from where to begin

We can't do anything with that info.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

No real info to work with, suggest you download the TC book & read about how to install. - http://tinycorelinux.net/book.html
AMD, ARM, & Intel.
