Wireshark failed to start
« on: March 11, 2019, 11:26:33 AM »
I installed Wireshark into TC v.10.0, but it is failed to start.

TC v.7.2 is the latest version which can run Wireshark. All later versions failed to run Wireshark.

Hi aapolon
If you open a terminal and enter  wireshark , do you get any warning or error messages?

Hi aapolon
Are you running  Xorg  or  Xvesa? According to the  .info  file:
Code: [Select]
Title:          wireshark.tcz

you need to be running  Xorg.

... TC v.7.2 is the latest version which can run Wireshark. ...
That appears to be the last version that did not include the Xorg comment.
