TC10 iptables bug?
« on: February 08, 2019, 03:14:02 PM »
When I add iptables to TC09 without new rules, I still can connect to the internet: see at.1.
When I add some rules with "INPUT -j DROP" as last one, I still have connection: see at.2.
When I add iptables to TC10 without new rules, I cannot connect to the internet: see at.3.
When I add some rules (eg OUTPUT ACCEPT) I can connect. But when I add as last rule: INPUT -j DROP, I loose my connection, although packets should be allowed because of the preceeding rules: see at.4.
Do I something wrong? or is this a bug?

It was reported that the ipv6 extension is now needed for netfilter, and this hasn't been fixed yet. Do you have it loaded?
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

I loaded it now, but this does not solve my problem. :(
BTW, the site I need is ipv4. Could the ipv6 extension be a problem when connecting to that site?
