Hi there,
i'm using tinycorepure64 9.0, and when i launch firefox (installed through firefox-getlatest), it won't start with this error.
See the attached picture.
Why does this happen?

Hello it9exm

This error appears to be an outdated dependency related issue.  Use APPS to update all extensions.

To test this issue I updated firefox to version 62.0.2 on both TC9 32bit and 64bit systems and are running fine after a reboot, am currently typing this message on above latest firefox version on TC 9.0 corepure64.

Many thanks coreplayer2.

I upgraded all the extensions from APPS and now firefox works.

Failed to open curl lib from binary, use libcurl.so instead

What causes this?

Hello it9exm
libcurl.so is found within the curl extension, do you have curl.tcz installed?

Hi,
Of course curl.tcz is installed and loaded. But i just noticed this:
that message pops up only when the checkbox to tell mozilla about the crash is selected.

If you don't select it, then the error is another, and it's about X Window System (see the previous attachment)

Hope this can help.

Hi it9exm
I think the   curl  error is a red herring caused by the X window error.

Hello it9exm

I wonder..  are you using Xorg-7.7 or Xfbdev in this corepure64 installation?

Just checked, i was using Xfbdev. I switched to Xorg-7.7 and now the upload form is working!
