Hi kh335m
I'm not familiar with how to use that package, but there are  man  pages available for it in  openldap-doc.tcz.  You will also
need to install  man.tcz  to view them.

I read the man page but can not figure out. I can search using this command "ldapsearch -x -h ldap-server-ip" and get the result. is there any command like centos/redhat, authconfig to configure the ldap client? I am trying to make this for our production server.
Help really appreciated.

Hi kh335m
As I said, I'm not familiar with how to use that package, but here is another resource that may be of some help:
https://www.openldap.org/doc/admin24/index.html
It includes a  Quick-Start Guide  and a section titled  Client Configuration.
