I am also interested in this. I saw it listed in the repository in the past and it is not listed anymore. At least not in 64 bit. I'll probably look into setting up from source.

I was able to use deb2tcz to build a pianobar.tcz I used tce-load -i pianobar.tcz to add it to the system. I cannot start it though by typing pianobar. Also this site has pianobar.tcz downloads: http://www.filewatcher.com/m/pianobar.tcz.262144-0.html. Not sure of the legitimacy.
