For those interested, colour emoji are now available in CorePure64 via the notocoloremoji-fonts-ttf extension using cblc/cbdt.
Note that the cairo, fontconfig, freetype, gtk3, harfbuzz and pango extensions will need updating for this to work.
The emoji can be displayed in gtk3 apps such as gedit, gucharmap, etc
Emoji can be inserted with, for example, <ctrl> <shift> u 1f600 <cr>
The emojionecolor-svginot-fonts-ttf extension will only give black and white emoji due to a lack of svg in opentype support.
