No quota format detected in the kernel
« on: October 13, 2017, 08:38:48 AM »
Try to apply quotas to my hard disk. But seems TCL can not understand "usrquota" option in fstab.

So i received this:
Code: [Select]
quotaon -ua
quotaon: Warning: No quota format detected in the kernel.

when try to activate quota mechanism on CorePure64. Something missing in the kernel?

Quotas aren't enabled as they are a very rarely used feature. You'll need to build a custom kernel.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
