problem with creating file, directory, etc
« on: August 02, 2017, 03:49:03 AM »
after installing tiny core I also installed some of compilers and developers tookit...

such as Openjdk, Gcc, python etc..

than I found out this weird behavior of OS...

after I make directories and files... than I reboot.. all of them are gone..

and things are set to basic mode...

after editing .ashrc files for environment,

when I reboot my pc, it comes back to it's original state.

seems I have tried many things and none of them fix this problem

but somehow OS allow me to install Apps.

and Apps stay there without problem.

is there are solution for this problem?

You need to backup after adding directories and files.
Please read the book: http://tinycorelinux.net/book.html

I don't have OPs problem, but thanks for linking the PDF for the tiny core book. It's been helpful.
