i2c-tools included in busybox behaving differently than the compiled ones

hello,
i've spent several hours of troubleshooting until i came to realization that i2cget/i2cset included in busybox do not produce the same result as i2c-tools package installed independently. i believe it's a bug in busybox, more here:
https://bugs.busybox.net/show_bug.cgi?id=9841
please consider disabling these plugins from busybox compilation.
