Who remembers <ash-based> mulinux ?
« on: March 23, 2017, 10:17:07 AM »
from 1999, which came on a single 1M7 fd0 !
His <help> & <info> menus were brilliant. You can't beat a good menu system.
And the same infrastructure: all written in <ash script> was used for the
combined news[NNTP]/mail client.
AFAICS he used a single binary [source is published] called <muless> as the
heart of his menu-based programs. A bit like busy-box is TC's heart.
I tested <muless>: under 32 & 64bit. I works. Perhaps uses static libraries?
Since It seems to be purely ash-script-based, with only calls to the <mules>,
I wanted to try to start porting it to my TC64.
But 32bit TC should handle it the same AFAICS ?
