There are a lot of queries about [mostly increasing] font size,
both on google & here; with little easy solutions, and even
a thread here about COMPILING for the X01!
Slakware allows you to select the font at boot-time by selecting
a parameter; which means that compiling is not involved.
I vaguely remembered "791" & "788".
I thought this USBstik-based TC64 booted from grub, but the
4 prompt alternatives, matched isolinux.cfg; so I edited 2
of them from 791 to 788.
Now my font is better - QED.
OTOH, traditionlly the screens were 480X640 [WxH]; but this
laptop seems 2 x traditional width; and I remember the Slackware
table for vga/vesa values had many entries. So which are best for
480x2=960 X 640 screens? Or where would I see that table?
And VT's font is now perfect. I prefer the white on black.
And `sudo openvt` <- repeated gives extra terminals, which are
accessed via Alt-<leftArrow>.
Now we just need mc.
Thanks for TC.
