A pilot landing in Seattle fog
« on: July 04, 2016, 08:58:42 AM »
A pilot landing in Seattle fog lost all his instruments
and with 300 passengers lives at stake, decide it
best to head to Idaho...

Nope said the navigator. Not enough fuel.

Things were getting tense when the pilot spotted
a tall spire poking up above the fog, with an open
window and a man in the window.

Circling around again, the pilot screamed
WHERE AM I? and on the next pass the
man in the window screamed back
YOU'RE IN AN AIRPLANE!!!

With that, the pilot immediately banked a
hard 90, dropped down to about 500 feet
without an altimeter - scary stuff - cruised
for 45 seconds and touched down perfectly
on center on the runway he couldn't even see
after he had landed on it.

The navigator was a trembling wreck, but
managed to ask H H HOW THE HECK DID
YA DO THAT?

PIECE OF CAKE replied the pilot. I ASKED
A SIMPLE QUESTION AND THE MAN IN THE
WINDOW GAVE ME AN ANSWER THAT WAS
100% TRUE AND 100% USELESS, SO I KNEW
THAT HAD TO BE THE MICROSOFT SUPPORT
TOWER, AND I KNOW WHERE THE RUNWAY
IS FROM THERE.

NOW...why won't my
tinycore opt=sr0 boot code
in grub4dos menu.lst
load the opt folder and bootlocal.sh
on my CD, all tidy with r x permissions
plastered all over it?

this better be good n funny....

too funny.....sounds almost like the company could have been my TELCO and not Msoft.  My telco want me to wait 21 days for a repair of DSL. I can  order 20 gigs of DSL speed data into my cell phone in 30 seconds for the same price my telco charge for 20 gigs of faulty DSL on copper wire......then the next day i could go to the high sreet and order a new DSL provider to my home who will install the gear and start it up in under 5 hours that same day.......
