How to change locale?
« on: January 27, 2016, 12:06:53 PM »
The default locale is C (US), but I need to change it to display different character set. I was looking for getlocale.tcz, but it's missing in the repo. Is there some other way how to do so?

getlocale.tcz is just a script, so you might be able to use it on arm as-is. Do check the deps, etc.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.

Patrik,
well, but I don't need to change the keyboard layout, but locale.
Exactly I need to display Czech alphabet in the LMS server.

OK, for those, who like to change locale at piCore, getlocale.tcz from main repo works fine.
It need the following extensions to be loaded manually before generation: dialog.tcz, glibc_apps.tcz, glibc_gconv.tcz, glibc_i18n_locale.tcz and for boot into the new locale it than need only glibc_gconv.tcz which the generated mylocale.tcz already has in dep.
