Importsce error
« on: October 13, 2015, 07:04:13 AM »
Hey everyone,

Very new to TinyCore, someone from the Freaktab forums has a nice project bringing tiny core to a rockchip device (mk908) subsequently this is an armhf device so i hope im posting in the correct area :) The port is unmaintained and ive ran into a couple issues, hoping someone maybe able to send me in the right direction.

Im unsure of the exact version of tinycore this is running. It lacks the default gui and the "App Browser", but it has xserver-xorg and openbox installed. So i assume this would be a modified "micro" version.

As i understand it, i need "importsce" to pull packages, and i hope with this i can get the "App Browser". Unforchately upon running importsce it returns "there is an issue connecting to" http://repo.tinycorelinux.net" It would imply a network error but both ping and wget have been working fine, lost as to what is causing this. any help would be very much appreciated :)
