difference between firefox man & firefox -h
« on: October 11, 2015, 10:54:46 PM »
external ref: http://linux.die.net/man/1/firefox

but:

Code: [Select]
>firefox -h
...
 --preferences      Open Preferences dialog.
--search <term>    Search <term> with your default search engine.
--recording <file> Record drawing for a given URL.
...

my focus is --search because i use it in an alias (got my attention) but, still, why the difference?

in duckduckgo, search: man firefox

both lead me to the same external link: linux.die.net/man/1/firefox

other/better src for man pages?
