TCL 6.3 - Help: Can't find minimized applications
« on: August 09, 2015, 07:42:55 PM »
Hi All,

When I minimize applications I can't find them on my desktop... and...
When I right-click the desktop I can't see the minimized applications under the "Applications" menu. I can see my applications but when I click on them (or the application icon from the wbar) it just opens a new instance of the application.

Is there something I need to configure in order to see minimized applications?

I'm using Open Box.

Thanks!

IIRC default Openbox uses middle-click to show opened/minimized applications, otherwise just use Alt-tab or set up a panel.

Glad it works. Creating a one pixel border around the screen perimeter allows right/left-click even with maximized windows to access menus - see ObConf or Openbox config files. If you miss having a panel, Apps has at least two panels that might work. Most alternative window managers have panels, like Fluxbox, IceWM and JWM.
