qemu CorePlus 6.2 keymap de-latin1-nodeadkeys.kmap ?
« on: May 10, 2015, 07:13:37 PM »
Hello tiny core linux is new for me after one hour of trying
i build a new working freebasic extensions so tiny core works greate with qemu.

but if i try a german keyboard layout (on text console not X-GUI)
loadkmap < /usr/share/kmap/qwertz/de-latin1-nodeadkeys.kmap
or
loadkmap < /usr/share/kmap/qwertz/de-latin1.kmap
or
loadkmap < /usr/share/kmap/qwertz/de.kmap

y<->z are swapped and on the right key
but other keys like: äÄ,üÜ,öÖ,ß,@ not available or on the wrong position.

Is it a known TC 6.2 problem or what i'm doing wrong ?

Thank you.

DJ

You likely need to tell Qemu the keymap as well (-k de or similar). Also for non-ascii keys, the default font doesn't have those, see the wiki for how to change the console font.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
