dillo-3.0.4.1
« on: May 05, 2015, 02:57:30 AM »
I have a current post about issues on my web browser. I'm posting new one with different browser as reference for future inquirers with same issues.

I've downloaded and extracted dillo-3.0.4.1.tar.bz2. I've already installed gcc from main repo which is a prerequisite in compiling this program. The problem is I got errors when executing the make command

You need to load the compiletc meta-extension rather than gcc - this will load gcc and a bunch of other required stuff.

FLTK 1.3 is required. I tried to install it but gave me new errors. Also I can.t find the "fifth web browser extension" in the repo, maybe it has a specific name.

The fifth web browser extension is called "fifth" - use the search function in the Apps gui and search on "fifth".

fltk-1.3 is already present in the tc-6.x repo - to compile dillo, you'll need at least fltk-1.3-dev and Xorg-7.7-dev

..because, as per the "provides" function of the apps gui, fltk-config is in the fltk-1.3-dev extension  :)

yes, you should download and load the fltk-1.3-dev extension.

Note also, that if you use "--enable-ssl", you need to download and load the openssl-1.0.1-dev extension.

I already install the fltk 1.3_dev. I got error when I try to "make" the file. My seamonkey keeps on crashing so I uninstall the dev. I currently using the fifth and yes its neat. Kindly see my attached file
