The dCore x86 README files related to dCore are located below. Helpful for setting up xorg, wireless, etc.

Jason
i asked this months ago
1) does the "dcore" x86 build currently come with a window manager and GUI?
2) Does dcore find your graphics and sound and network easily?
3) does dcore make it easy to use the import tool for Deb packages?
i really want to use dcore since it has a huge library of apps. in the Deb repo
4) Does dcore now have it's own APP repository yet?.. OR..are there just about 20
apps concerning sound and "import" etc in it's repo.

If I don't get to a question or issue in a day or so get back with me then. There is a chance of something getting lost in the shuffle especially when there are multiple issues or threads I am tending to. Like right now.
1. Window managers and GUI has to be imported. Like with Core.
2. Yes, Xorg is very good configless and sound and network are pretty much just like in Core.
3. Yes, "sce-import" is very easy to use.
4. There is a prebuilt section for things like kernel modules or stuff not available in Debian type repos. But preferably packages are imported.
There are threads covering these things, let me know if you have any other questions. Documentation is sparse but being worked on.

Right Jason,
Many thanks for even replying. There is also somebody else
who chats with me about "Dcore" .......i can always ask around right.
I hope the threads are not over-burden to you and your available
resources and time.
It seems pretty straight forward to get the skeleton of Dcore
up and running on x86.
i hope your MOnday has gone ok and not a nightmare.

many thanks

The threads are not a burden. And the documentation is coming along fast lately thanks to others who are working on it. I want dCore to be easy to use, since it may be a natural choice for those normally running Debian type distros and wanting to try Tinycore.

Yes Jason,
i read comments rolling around that "Dcore" really "is" going to be
an absolutely excellent choice of operating system. It will simply
be a desirable adoption for migrators of these large bloated Distros.
It really think (like many others do) that "dCore" Operating system is something special Jason ....ofcourse, you absolutely know that.
i know not where you get the motive for it, but i wait eager for
the vast opportunity;s this computer operating system will offer
governed by simplicity to boot
thx|

Thanks. To me, dCore is simply a choice of Tinycore that can access Debian packages along with some prebuilt ones. Shared concepts, kernel, code base, history, etc. Aimed at being a complimentary offering Tinycore.
