Meaning of the files name

hi to all, when i download the files of the apps, that are always the same, as:

- tcz ??
- tcz.dep ??
- tcz.info ..perhaps general info on author, type of program and so on..
- tcx.list  ..perhaps list of file and their tipology
- tcz.md5.txt ..perhaps checksum
- tcz.tree .. perhaps their deoendencies
- tcz.zsynks what??

i suppose it are required, but who tells me what exactly they are?. Thanks

If you use the apps gui to download and install extensions, you will only download what is required - i.e *tcz, *tcz.dep (if it exists) and *tcz.md5.txt.

Using the apps gui will also download any required dependency extensions recursively.

The book has a chapter on these.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
