possible Documentation error: SCM/SCE in Core concepts (5.x)
« on: August 26, 2014, 04:38:55 AM »
according to the 5.0 announcement

...
* scm extensions have been dropped
...

SCM extensions are dropped, but they are still listed in core concepts http://tinycorelinux.net/concepts.html.

Core concepts should therefore be updated.

As far as I understand (and as far as I can read in the forum) SCMs have been replaced by SCEs (at least for dCore), so I would appreciate very much some remarks about dCore and SCEs in core concepts ...

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I've removed the SCM paragraph. Leaving to dCore part to someone else.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
