question: howto get cpu/s temperature / thermal
« on: July 31, 2014, 10:59:39 AM »
Hi,

is there anyway to get the temperature/thermal of the CPU/s without any extension ?
I tried to get it from /sys/class/hwmon under TC-5.3-64bit but no success.

Code: [Select]
tc@box:~$ ls -l /sys/class/hwmon/
total 0

and also

tc@box:~$ sudo acpi -t
sudo: acpi: command not found

thanks
Halma
1 + 2 = 6  cause  10 - 6 = 78 ;-) lol

Probably not. There is an  acpi.tcz  extension. It's only 8K in size and has no dependencies.

/sys/class/hwmon is the right place, do you have your modules loaded? The hwmon- extension.
The only barriers that can stop you are the ones you create yourself.
