Mail Server/Relay
« on: June 08, 2014, 11:00:41 AM »
My ISP has been cracking down since being bought out by a bigger company and it's causing hate and discontent with the Email accounts in the house.  I can only have one computer turned on with an email client running even behind the router and firewall.  I am looking for and email server/relay to run on and old machine with TC so that the ISP only see's one computer sending or receiving Email.  Mac/Linux/XP to TC to ISP and back.  Anyone have any suggestions?  I have been fighting with Postfix but I have not been able to get it to work for what I am trying to accomplish

I'm interested in this as well, although not for the same reasons.  I have been doing some research on the web for lightweight and secure email servers.  The two I'm looking at are dovecot and qmail.  Neither of those appears to be in the TC repo, but they look like they fit what I'm looking for.  Just FYI.
