Dear Tiny-core colleagues,

I apologise if this has been asked before - but I've looked on the internet and tried some of the terminal commands but cannot get it to work.   :-[

I'm a newbie - I've downloaded a tar.xz file and successfully extracted it to the 'tc' section of the hard-drive.
A folder called 'srware-iron' has appeared but I don't know how to install the contents of the folder by using the command line ( srware-iron is a browser and I hope to install it so that it appears on boot up ).

Any help in how to install it will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Tinyship

Hi tinyship
Just use the  Apps  utility to install  iron, all dependencies will be installed automatically. I would also like to suggest you read the Tinycore
book which you can download from here:
http://tinycorelinux.net/book.html
It's well worth your time and will give you insight into how Tinycore works.
