minitube with "vlc phonon backend"z

Hello,

just wondered if anybody here has correct working "minitube" with the "vlc phonon backend"?

It didn't seem to be happy here. Would not load up the backend when minitube started.  tcl 4.3.1.

Re-tried the whole set up with mplayer phonon backend and it works ok.

hi cat-fish,

i successfully use all three backends in core 4.7.7.
the phonon-backend-mplayer is my preferred lean configuration,
the phonon-backend-vlc is the fat one that offers some additional features.

does anyone use mtube in dCore?
