This is maintained by Arslan S who doesn't seem to be active. Has anyone compiled it for 5.X?

Hmm - strange that wxgtk in the 4.x repo contains libwx_gtk2u-2.8.so and wxgtk in the 5.x repo seems to contain everything except that...

Different build, 4.x is a monolitic while 5.x is not. Do you need a monolitic 5.x version?

I suggest to rebuild wxcam and other apps depending on monolitic build aginst current 5.x wxgtk. Going to monolitic would break filezilla and who knows what else.
