It seems to be working now for me, but at the time tce-load just stalled and wouldn't download anything.

At the time I actually did try http://isup.me and it told me the site was down, but strangely the forums still worked. 

Anyway, I've downloaded everything I need to test the SPI driver and can report that it works.

Next thing to test to test is the IR driver...
