sbp:
hi bmarkus
Thank you for your continued work on this - I'm trying to catch up on all your new releases.
Unfortunately, I still have the wifi connection problem with all the piCore5 versions - whereas version 4.7.7 is working fine.
I know that you considered to get a wifi adaptor, so are you seeing the same problem or is it only me?
Steen
bmarkus:
Hi Steen
unfortunately I have no USB WIFi adapter and if get one for sure not the same as your. I'm working on I2C, SPI, 1-wire testing.
But as far as I remember your key issue is the slow DHCP, isn't it?
letaage:
I've installed it and noticed that the SPI and I2C drivers are now compiled into the kernel, not modules in this version.
Anyway, the SPI and I2C devices show up under /dev and the I2C driver seems to work (I can only test /dev/i2c-0 with my hardware) but repo seems to be down from where I am so I can't download everything I need to test the SPI driver.
Access to repo.tinycorelinux.net stopped 3/4 of the way through downloading everything I need... I'll try later.
Gerrelt:
Hi Bmarkus,
I've installed Alpha 6, on three raspberries. Two model B's with 512 mb memory, and one model B with 256 mb memory. The first two with wifi adapters with the RTL8188CUS chipset, and the last one with an wifi adapter with the RT5370 chipset.
I am running openssh and squeezelite, all went fine and I've encountered no problems.
Thank you for your work.
Greetings,
Gerrelt.
