Need help saving files in terminal?
« on: September 10, 2013, 01:50:06 AM »
Hello guys,

First i will introduce myself, i am 18 years old and new to this forum.
I am testing thin client operating systems for our company but i ran into a problem.
I installed Citrix Receiver and followed the steps,  but from step 5 (this tutorial: http://jackiechen.org/2012/03/07/diy-citrix-receiver-thin-client/) i dont know how to save the file.

is it an hotkey or something? I am kinda new in this so maybe it is just a simple but stupid question but don't blame me for that.

I hope you can help me with this.

Thanks in advance,

Kind Regards,
Marciej123

Hi Marciej123
From the comments section of the link you provided:

In the vi editor you’ll press ‘Esc’ to quit insert mode and then a :w will write the file and then a :q will exit the vi editor.
Try  editor  instead of using  vi. If it's not on your machine, install  Xprogs.tcz.
