cmus: couldn't find it on tc 5.0

It is there, I see it with apps gui and tce/tce-load cli tools.

ok, so i tried to go back to tc 4.7.7
- i downloaded 4.7.7 core plus iso and burnt a cd
- i booted from cd...and it looks like it also loads all the extensions i once had installed under 5.0. don't know how to avoid
- i tried to do an install_tc from the desktop
- when selecting frugial, it does not show me any harddisk, i.e. i can't go on
what am i doing wrong?

what do you mean with "base"?
when i select anything else when booting, i still get no target disk shown when trying to do a frugal installation. (when booted 4.7.7)

in the meantime i managed to install 4.7.7 to the harddisk, but then i'm not able to connect to the internet (it doesn't find the fastest mirror), which was no problem with 5.0.
is there anything different with network access?
i can't understand that this worked without any problems under 5.0, but does not seem to work with 4.7.7

thanx for the link, but in the meantime, i have tc 4.7.7 installed.
but i'm no longer able to download and install apps. although i did network configuration the same way as i did with tc 5.0 before, i cannot access the mirror.
under 5.0 this worked fine.
is there a problem when using 4.7.7 or what am i doing wrong?
thanx!
