Hi, I'm a bit of a newb at programming/linux and dont really know what to do next, so far I've done:

I know enough to know its a code problem but not enough to fix it, any help would be appreciated, I understand that a sound card based oscilloscope program isnt in huge demand (then again the reason i chose TC was so I could use this old laptop as a stand alone oscilloscope!) but I would be very grateful of anyone with the technical prowess required to get this running who could do it and get back to me on exactly how they did it. Thanks in advance.

i realise how demanding that sounds of a community that probably couldnt care less about a newby scope but just so you know I havent given up completely and I will post when I know how to fix it and hopefully someday (probably in 2 years or something) this post may be of use to somebody and I can feel like I have contributed in some way. Also if i do get it working I would like to convert it into a .tcz extension and add it to the repo maybe.

Sorry I can't be of any help except to say that I too would be very interested in using an old laptop/pc as a stand alone scope.

you brilliant bloke, it works! Can you tell me; was it easy? how did you find it?

All thats left now is to work out how to get my soundcard working!
