"Remastering" issues
« on: March 19, 2013, 02:37:11 PM »
Can someone help me out here, I'm trying to remaster a Non-GUI Core.iso, I only need the ncurses.tcz extension added and a single program (my own program) that launches on boot... I'm using some script to do this for me right now which makes the ISO without issues.  Now... when I use core2usb and boot from flash drive, it loads the library and the program works just fine, but when I boot just the iso file (in a VM or from a CD) it still boots the application properly, but it doesn't load the extension, so I get errors related to missing libraries when the program tries to do certain functions...

I'm surely overlooking something here... But I just don't know what?

Hi Unknownforce
When you boot from read only media, Tinycore looks in the cde directory for extensions.

Oh, will I need to put it in both places, or will it work in just the cde directory for both read only and non-read-only media?
